As part of a new relationship with Universal Music Publishing, UMPG will feature custom artwork from some of Australia’s most exciting new artists on the walls of its new creative space ‘The Writers Block’.
“The Writers Block is a collaborative hub for UMPG songwriters- it is a space that is designed to inspire. Creativity is never static which is why we are so excited to have Space 44 and their crew of talented young artists frequently refresh our walls with unique art that takes cues from the sounds of our writers” said UMPG Australia’s Director of A&R Heath Johns.
The first piece is a mural from talented 26 year old Sydney-based mixed-media artist Scotty Williams, it features iconic Australian imagery set amongst classic recording studio motifs as it welcomes UMPG’s songwriters to ‘The Writers Block’.
